Path of Exile Patch 3.26.0e Repositions Kingsmarch Recombinator and Adds Controller Pauses

Path of Exile preview patch 3.26.0e shifts the Kingsmarch Recombinator, fixes multiple crashes, and implements game pauses for altar interactions when using controllers. The update also sorts out persistent bugs involving Atlas keystones, unique items, and Blighted maps.

Grinding Gear Games outlined Path of Exile Patch 3.26.0e, introducing quality-of-life adjustments for controllers, town layout changes in Kingsmarch, and a broad sweep of bug fixes targeting unique body armors and Atlas passives.

Controller and Town Quality-of-Life

Players using controllers now experience automatic game pauses when selecting Eldritch Altar, Memory Altar, and Ultimatum Altar modifiers. Advanced Item Information checking at vendors with a controller also works properly now. In Kingsmarch, the Recombinator's location and clickable area received adjustments for easier access.

Combat and Mechanic Fixes

Impenetrable Bastion's cooldown stops ticking while the immunity buff remains active on players or mercenaries. Queen's Hunger no longer continues triggering offering skills after players unequip the item. Stacking massive amounts of powerful impales will no longer cause Call of Steel to deal incorrect or zero damage.

Atlas and Map Corrections

Originator-influenced maps can now properly roll Tier 17 modifiers when reforged with an Orb of Horizons or affected by the Twist of Fate Atlas Keystone. Blighted map gold drops will no longer fail if players stand too far from the purification pump upon completion.

System and Stability Fixes

Abyssal Depths boss fight timers and instilled flasks correctly respect game pauses. The update addresses three separate instance crashes, refines audio system increments, and resolves visual errors tied to Blast Rain of Trarthus area scaling.

Why this patch matters

Patch 3.26.0e targets mechanical snags and controller input oversights, smoothing out endgame mapping and town management without altering core balance.
