Palworld Update v0.4.15 Reworks Random Pal Mode And Fixes Crashes

Palworld version v0.4.15 reworks Random Pal mode with region-locked levels, implements save data optimizations, and addresses multiplayer rubberbanding.

Pocketpair has released Palworld update v0.4.15, bringing a major overhaul to Random Pal mode alongside bug fixes for Xbox and Steam Deck crashes and map data loss.

Random Pal Mode Rework

Random Pal mode now features fixed wild Pal levels for each region. Enemy strength scales gradually as players progress, while only the specific types of appearing Pals remain randomized.

Stability And Performance

The patch implements a workaround for a bug that reset map data and addresses crashes on Xbox and Steam Deck. Developers also optimized save data file sizes and added measures to reduce multiplayer rubberbanding.

World And Base Fixes

Dedicated servers no longer suffer from base Pals getting stuck on each other. Naturally occurring map objects like mushrooms now respawn properly after player destruction, and neutral NPCs in random events correctly become criminals when attacked.

Why this patch matters

Version v0.4.15 targets foundational stability issues like save corruption and crashes while giving Random Pal mode a much-needed progression curve.
