Palworld Update v0.4.14 Adds Spring Festival Skins and Balance Tweaks
Palworld update v0.4.14 introduces five Spring Festival skins, base behavior improvements for large Pals, new elements for specific creatures, and weapon balancing adjustments.
Pocketpair has launched Palworld update v0.4.14, adding cosmetic Spring Festival skins alongside quality-of-life adjustments for base building, resource extraction rates, and targeted bug fixes.
Spring Festival Skins
Players can now equip five new Spring Festival skins, provided they own the corresponding Pal. The available skins include Lucky Cattiva, Fortune-Bringer Lyleen, Fortune-Bringer Lyleen Noct, Lion-Dancer Chillet, and Lion-Dancer Chillet Ignis.
Pal Behavior and Element Updates
Pals now target the nearest enemy immediately after being summoned. Large Pals at bases have had their behavior adjusted to match small Pals, allowing them to navigate narrow passages and avoid ceiling collisions. Mammorest and Mammorest Cryst gain the earth element, while Killamari gains the water element and watering work suitability.
Crafting and Balance Adjustments
The large electric egg incubator requires less power, while storage in the battery is significantly increased. Crude oil extractor production speed is increased, along with the extraction speed scaling at the Pal Labor Research Laboratory. The plasteel requirement for crafting weapons and armor is reduced, and weapons and armor made from blueprints now have increased durability. Additionally, the Advanced Bow damage drop-off distance is extended by 1.5.
Bug Fixes
The update resolves a crash occurring when a Pal with four negative passive skills underwent surgery by Dr. Brawn. It fixes an issue where the NEW display in the building UI persisted on new saves, restored missing oil rig treasure chest respawns, and removed an unintentional cross-play feature allowing PS5 players to join Xbox games.
Why this patch matters
Update v0.4.14 improves base management for large creatures, reduces crafting costs for late-game gear, and introduces seasonal cosmetics.
