Palworld Crossplay Update v0.5.0 Adds Global Palbox and Dedicated Mac Servers
Palworld v0.5.0 introduces full crossplay, a Global Palbox for transferring Pals between worlds, a cosmetic armor system, and dedicated Mac servers.
Palworld update v0.5.0 launches crossplay across all platforms alongside large storage upgrades, a cosmetic armor system, and numerous balance adjustments.
Crossplay and Storage
Crossplay is now active across all platforms. A new Global Palbox lets players store Pal data and transfer creatures between worlds. Dimensional Pal Storage offers ten times the capacity of a standard Palbox, allowing shared access for guild members or private personal settings. A dedicated Mac server option is also available.
Base Building and Exploration
Buildings now snap into place even when overlapping with a Pal, and connected foundations or roofs automatically align in the same direction. Assigning an Ice Pal to the Flea Market slows item decay and sales. Torches now illuminate random dungeons, and players can sit on chairs and cushions. A new Drafting Table lets players combine low-rarity blueprints into higher-rarity ones.
Combat and Balance
Attack Choppers grant increased experience upon defeat, and Flamethrowers deal higher DPS. Electric and Dark Pals use updated default attacks when active skills are on cooldown. Summoned raid bosses no longer damage external bases, and Dumud gains the Water attribute. Elemental chest rewards now consistently drop Dog Coins with a small chance of work suitability books.
Quality of Life and UI
Favorites are now organized into three groups, and holding the +/- buttons in the Pal Soul Enhancement UI continuously adjusts values. The Pal Box features a new sort option by work suitability level, alongside an Extra Large text size option and Fullscreen Mode. NPC conversation logs have been reset to let players claim updated event rewards.
Bug Fixes
Patch v0.5.0 fixes movement exploits where players could launch into space while climbing, getting stunned on flying Pals over water, or dismounting Azurmane. It also resolves issues with NPC targeting, stacking Bounty Tokens, and dedicated server feed box pathing.
Why this patch matters
Update v0.5.0 expands multiplayer capabilities and quality-of-life infrastructure while rebalancing key combat and base mechanics.
