Out and About 1.0 Delayed to Early 2027

Out and About delays its 1.0 launch to early 2027, but brings cooking minigames, photo quests, and multiple save slots forward to a November content update.

Developer Yaldi has pushed the 1.0 release date for Out and About to early 2027 to allow extra time for polish and give the team a proper holiday break. However, major features originally planned for 1.0 are arriving early in a November update.

November Content Update

Players will get access to cooking minigames, photo quests, and achievements in November. The update also introduces a shorter, improved tutorial storyline and multiple save slots. The studio confirms that save files from this update will carry over to the 1.0 release, meaning no progress resets will be required.

Cooking Fest Demo

A new demo launches on October 12 for Cooking Fest. It features the revised tutorial and cooking minigames for every recipe located in Whispering Pines, Portobello Woods, and Periwinkle Beach.

Delayed Content

The 1.0 launch window moves from its original schedule to early 2027. Autumn story content is also being held back to release directly with the 1.0 launch.

Why this patch matters

While the 1.0 delay pushes the full story finale further out, bringing cooking, achievements, and multiple saves forward to November gives players new features to test right away without risking future save wipes.
