No More Room in Hell 2 Reanimation Update

The Reanimation update for No More Room in Hell 2 introduces two new maps, Combat 2.0 gore mechanics, a weight-based radial inventory, and a free weekend.

No More Room in Hell 2 is receiving an update. The Reanimation update launches on April 15 alongside two new maps and a free weekend running from April 17 to April 21.

New Maps

Lewiston challenges responders to secure survivor safety and escape via train or boat at golden sunset. Pottsville sends players to a community center civilian evacuation before heading downtown for critical research and rooftop extraction. These maps join the existing Power Plant level.

Combat 2.0 and Enemy Types

Combat brings directional swing dragging via mouse inputs to dismember zombies. Left clicks execute right-to-left swings, right clicks execute left-to-right swings, and holding attacks delivers knockdowns. A stamina-cost kick puts space between players and the undead. Riot police and construction worker zombies add armored threats with enhanced protection.

Inventory and Character Management

A weight-based radial inventory maps items to screen quadrants, with slice sizes reflecting item weights. Players can now maintain three character slots and spend match-earned credits to reroll starting character selections.

Spawning and Loot System

Zombie spawning systems are rewritten to regulate enemy density and scarcity across maps. Loot distribution is modified to make gear and supply searches more rewarding.

Why this patch matters

The Reanimation update expands content breadth and refines core combat physics during Early Access.
