No More Room in Hell 2 has outlined the contents of the upcoming Reinforcement Update (0.2.0), slated for release at the end of November. The patch brings a complete difficulty rework, new weapons, a randomized alternative ending sequence for the Power Plant map, and extensive bug fixes.
Difficulty Overhaul and Combat
The November update introduces a comprehensive rework of game difficulty. Ammo is scarcer, difficulty scales differently relative to player levels, and zombie lethality is re-balanced. Zombies also feature improved hit reactions, causing their bodies to react realistically to melee strikes and explosives.
Power Plant Ending and New Weapons
Players can encounter a random ending sequence on the Power Plant map before extracting via helicopter. This variant requires completing tasks across the central area instead of entering the control room for the code book objective. Two new firearms join the arsenal: the M1911A1 handgun and the fully automatic M7A1 assault rifle.
Bug Fixes and Technical Adjustments
Hundreds of bugs are addressed in the update. VOIP improvements are included alongside fixes for invincible no-legs crawler zombies, propane tank issues, sliding zombies, and distance-based bullet falloff damage. Non-major limbs such as hands, feet, and lower arms can be removed, and fixes are applied to objective markers, interaction points, revive mechanics, floating flashlights, and enemy spawn proximity.
Why this patch matters
Update 0.2.0 tackles community feedback regarding pacing, map variety, and hit detection while setting the stage for future survival mechanics like infection.
