No More Room in Hell 2 Hotfix 0.1.3 Adjusts Stamina and Fixes Pipebomb Damage

Hotfix 0.1.3 for No More Room in Hell 2 adjusts stamina use for melee swings and restores full damage radius to pipebombs. The update also tweaks zombie headshot requirements and adds an Invert Y-Axis mouse option.

Hotfix 0.1.3 for No More Room in Hell 2 rolls out adjustments to combat mechanics, inventory behavior, and control settings. The update targets several frequent pain points reported during the early access launch week.

Combat and Balance Tweaks

Stamina tuning now lets players execute more melee weapon swings, with the exact count depending on the weapon equipped. Prime and Red Eyes zombies require fewer headshots across all situations and should now go down with a single headshot in most gameplay conditions regardless of difficulty, weapon, or distance. In addition, a bug that reduced the damage radius of pipebombs and other explosives is resolved.

Controls and Quality of Life

Players can now select an Invert Y-Axis option for the mouse. The update also fixes an occasional inventory bug that prevented players from switching to other items after using a bandage. A memory leak on ultrawide resolutions that caused performance drops on Ultra settings is fixed, alongside multiple bugs affecting the revive syringe.

Servers and Matchmaking

Matchmaking stability has improved following backend changes deployed over the past week. Data indicates that 85 percent of all matches now connect players to their best regional server or a very close alternative.

Why this patch matters

Hotfix 0.1.3 directly addresses early combat frustrations by making melee weapons more usable and restoring explosive damage areas while sorting out basic control and inventory bugs.
