No More Room in Hell 2 Camp Blood Update Adds Ruby Lake Map and Retirement System
No More Room in Hell 2 version 1.2 introduces the Ruby Lake survival map, a high-level retirement progression path, experimental subtitles, and independent stick deadzone settings for controllers.
The No More Room in Hell 2 development team has detailed the upcoming Camp Blood update, version 1.2, which brings the game's first post-launch map alongside a long-term progression system.
New Survival Map and Progression
Ruby Lake transports players to an 80s-inspired campsite on the outskirts of Warren County, New Jersey, featuring locations such as troop cabins, a ranger station, and a camp pavilion. Alongside the map, the update introduces a retirement system for Responders who reach level 100. Retiring eligible characters feeds into the new Distinguished Service leveling path, which features 20 unlockable levels at launch including extra loadout slots, cosmetics, and gameplay perks designed to aid progression in Hell Mode.
Accessibility, Controls, and Bug Fixes
An experimental subtitle option arrives in version 1.2, limited to CRC dialogue to help players track objectives. Controller users gain independent deadzone adjustments for both the left and right analog sticks. The update also restores the in-game player reporting tool and fixes a bug where firearm damage scaled incorrectly when the player was out of stamina.
Party System Overhaul
Developers are addressing ongoing party connection problems by migrating to an entirely new squad system. While client-side behavior should remain unchanged, the team plans to monitor the transition closely once deployed.
Why this patch matters
Version 1.2 gives veteran players a concrete endgame goal through the retirement system while delivering the game's first new map and vital quality-of-life adjustments.
