Nivalis Nights Patch 01.10 Delivers Performance Fixes and Staff Adjustments

Nivalis Nights has been updated to v01.10, targeting performance drops, staff ordering workflows, and quest progression bugs. The patch also introduces lower mouse sensitivity support and fixes camera memory leaks.

The v01.10 patch for Nivalis Nights focuses on immediate stability issues reported during launch week. The update addresses performance bottlenecks, inventory tracking bugs, and camera degradation linked to save reloading.

Performance and Controls

The update includes general performance passes for character actions, animations, and physics. A camera issue causing performance to degrade progressively every time a save was loaded is resolved. The Level of Detail slider can no longer be forced down to 0, and support for lower mouse sensitivity settings is added.

Management and Quests

Staff ordering workflows are improved, fixing an error where order actions repeated infinitely if ingredients required restocking, alongside better manager behavior during ingredient purchases. Business and barter skill leveling works as intended. Quest objective details for Ramen Noir decorations and plants are expanded, and furniture retailers at Eastern Residential, Hive Mall, and Central Canyon stock them properly. An intro tutorial issue where buying exact shopping list amounts caused later confusion during the inventory fill objective is fixed.

Navigation and Miscellaneous Fixes

The boat cockpit view offers better visibility and reduced motion sickness triggers. Travel transitions feature a skip instruction note. Players cannot be pushed inside environmental geometry by other characters. Furniture configurations, chess castling rules when the king is in check, and various furniture setups are corrected. Hiding the quest log with the J key can still cause text illegibility upon unhiding; reloading a save resolves this until a future patch arrives.

Why this patch matters

Patch 01.10 solves critical progression and staff logic problems while laying groundwork for broader optimization in upcoming updates.
