Necesse v0.26.0 Hotfixes Patch Notes

Necesse receives a series of hotfixes addressing multiple game crashes, audio leaks, and missing achievement triggers.

Developer Fair has released a round of hotfixes for Necesse version 0.26.0, targeting various crash bugs, audio issues, and achievement tracking errors.

Crash Fixes

Fixed multiple crash sources including resolution timeout confirmation, invalid world creation characters, initial loading of character features, changing levels and maps simultaneously, missing audio devices, and dedicated server crashes involving ostrich mounts. Mod-related crashes tied to undefined controls or certain load failures are also resolved, alongside an edge-case crash when exiting chairs and beds at map borders.

Gameplay and Interface Fixes

Resolved an issue where the Safety Last achievement failed to complete if Lifeline triggered. Fixed mushrooms not placing correctly as seeds on farmland. Cursors no longer disappear after changing settings or cause movement lockups when interacting with patch notes. Swamp cave water is now more distinguishable, Ravenlord chestplate missing pixels are restored, and wall vertical texture connections are corrected.

Localization and Launch Options

Updated community translations for Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Thai, Simplified Chinese, Catalan, German, Russian, Spanish, Korean, and Polish. Added a new secondary launch option to address game launch and memory allocation issues.
