Necesse Patch 1.3.3 Fixes Combat Scaling, Settler Buffs, and Crafting Recipes

Necesse update 1.3.3 introduces balance adjustments for settler incursions, fixes item salvage issues, and corrects weapon calculations for crystal bullets and ascended staves.

Necesse receives an update that targets combat balance, pathfinding quirks, and item crafting errors. Servers and hosts must update to version 1.3.3 to play together, though older versions remain available through Steam betas.

Combat Balance and Settlers

Settlers obtained from incursions now take minimal damage from hits and have immunity to damage over time effects. Mutant Hydra enemies possess slight resistance against area-of-effect attacks. The settler list happiness indicator color is less harsh.

Weapon and Item Fixes

Crystal Bullets and Amethyst Swords factor in critical chance and damage when calculating shard explosions. The Ascended Staff consumes mana accurately and does not trigger extra attacks. Boomerangs yield correct essence salvage amounts, and the Pirate Captain drops a deep ladder when summoned via a Message in a Bottle.

General Bug Fixes

The Factory Floor recipe is now at the Fallen Landscaping Station. Bee summons track smaller targets more effectively when positioned directly behind them, and pathfinding handles getting stuck between objects or in corners better. The update resolves issues with the Inspiring personality buff, filter equipment loading, quick transferring gear to settlers, and several items previously marked as unobtainable.

Why this patch matters

Update 1.3.3 resolves combat calculation bugs and makes incursion settlers sturdier during raids.
