Necesse Hotfixes v0.26.1 Resolve Crashes and UI Bugs

Necesse receives a pair of hotfixes under version v0.26.1 addressing multiple game crashes, interface clipping errors, and multiplayer synchronization bugs. The updates also include several community translation refreshes.

Developer Fair has rolled out hotfixes for Necesse under version v0.26.1. The patches fix multiple crash sources, interface issues, and dedicated server performance overhead.

Crash Fixes and Stability

The hotfixes resolve rare crashes occurring when players or settlers exit objects, during chat message additions and removals, and when a Sapphire Revolver projectile fails to find an owner. Fixes also address potential crashes caused by mining specific objects extremely fast, teleporting with a Katana in multiplayer, changing cursors, and starting the game minimized. A fix is also included for an issue where some users received a Could not create Java Virtual Machine error and a missing Restart now localization key.

UI, Settler, and Gameplay Fixes

Interface updates fix the mod list and settler list icons cutting off when players have large numbers of mods or settlers. Settlers no longer attempt to haul items to inaccessible locations, and attackers update correctly when acquiring new owners. Additional fixes address trash cans failing to function after joining a world with a new character, graveyard incursions dropping 2 items in higher tier incursions, and stats incorrectly copying from previous characters to new ones. The Homestone is also correctly centered on its tile.

Server Performance and Localization

Dedicated servers no longer consume excessive CPU resources when no input stream is present to the process. Banana tree textures now properly represent how many bananas are on them. Community translations have been updated for Italian, Korean, Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, German, Spanish, Japanese, Russian, and Thai.

Why this patch matters
