Necesse Hotfix v.1.0.1 Resolves Crashes and Settler Pathing

Necesse hotfix v.1.0.1 fixes dozens of bugs, including settler teleportation, memory leaks, armor set bonus errors, and dedicated server crashes.

A fresh round of hotfixes for Necesse addresses a wide array of crash triggers, performance issues, and gameplay bugs.

Settlers and Gameplay Logic

Settlers that stray too far will now teleport directly to you. The patch fixes an issue where settlers got stuck at settlement edges during missions, and resolves bugs with Demonic armor set bonuses crashing dedicated servers, spiderite armor displaying duplicate stats, and the soulseed armor ability causing pets and mounts to explode. In addition, the Pest Warden body damage values are corrected, ensuring balanced combat both inside and outside incursions.

Crash Fixes and Stability

The update applies memory optimizations and eliminates numerous crash sources. Fixed triggers include audio initialization failures from invalid devices, loading players located on different levels, using discovery maps during autosaves, pathfinding mobs, and missing biomes. Summoner ranges, sapphire right-click owner checks, and elder interactions have also been adjusted to prevent crashes.

Interface and World Generation

Controller users can now successfully rename chests. World generation fixes ensure deep swamps spawn Mycelium and Life Quartz properly, and katana presets spawn as intended. Achievements such as Getting Hot, Empowered, and Overpowered now track correctly without unlocking prematurely from single armor pieces.

Why this patch matters

Hotfix v.1.0.1 acts as a quality-of-life and stability patch for Necesse, resolving critical server crashes and settler pathfinding glitches.
