Mythfall Patch v0.18.0 Overhauls Combat and Balance
Mythfall Patch v0.18.0 introduces a combat rebalance with percentage stats, Tier 6 gear, status effect tiers, and inventory additions.
Mythfall receives a balance pass in Patch v0.18.0. The update transforms combat statistics, reworks gear, adds new item tiers, and updates inventory and building systems.
Combat and Balance Overhaul
Stats and Defense are now percentage-based. Every weapon, armor piece, and ring has been rebalanced, alongside a Tier 6 classification for the rarest upgrades. Monster damage is adjusted across all tiers, and status effects now scale from Tier I to IV. Monster hitboxes now match their sprites instead of their shadows. Titan ring attacks now provide a warning before landing and leave escape gaps, while area bosses no longer respawn while their dungeon entrance remains nearby.
Quality of Life and Features
Usernames are now reserved, with a one-time change allowed from the main menu. Item tooltips have been rewritten to show where to find each item, and settings menus now include explanatory tooltips. Alivarg features new sphere taunts. The Deposit All command now fills storage as much as possible and warns when capacity is reached. Idle players are automatically logged out, and quitting during the tutorial no longer skips it.
Inventory and Building Updates
Bank filters now pack matching items from the top across all pages. Crafting stations no longer present an empty recipe list after a recall. House editing now uses a palette to pick blocks directly instead of requiring them to be equipped, and placing a block no longer causes every pet in your pet yard to respawn. A bug causing backpacks to occasionally disappear with items still inside has been fixed, alongside disconnect and reconnect stability fixes.
World and UI Improvements
The Hall of Heroes now features weekly and monthly halls, supported by new signs for full rankings and dungeon records. NPC voice lines have also been improved.
