Mr Sleepy Man Demo Update Refines UI And Fixes Save Bugs
The Mr. Sleepy Man demo update improves menu visibility, fixes save data corruption issues, and adds environmental interaction options.
Following player feedback gathered at PAX, a new update for the Mr. Sleepy Man demo addresses save bugs, cleans up interface visibility, and introduces new interactive objects throughout the world.
General Bug Fixes And Interface
The update resolves a bug that kept pillows active after diving and fixes world save data inconsistencies that broke continuity between updates. On the start menu, the memory card position shifts to keep the cover art visible at first glance. Power button interactions feature updated visuals, sound effects, and text states. The no thanks button exits interactions rather than quitting the level entirely.
Teefys Hut And Bedtime Town Changes
Teefy reminds players of their current objective and skips dialogue prompts if you refuse to interact with him. In Bedtime Town, new destructible objects populate the market, cups can be picked up, and the cash register can be smashed using the rock. Papa Bear and small villagers run away during active chases to prevent crowd congestion in cutscenes. Villagers stop following you when you enter a cutscene.
Platforming And Dream Sequences
The secret entrance to the sewers features a timed mechanism located on the giant toilet handle. Checkpoint bed button displays and messages are clearer. Grandma keys are visible upon initial scene load, and directional arrows appear on the first couple platforming sequences in the Lost In Dreams section. A collider stops DJ from going off screen before you jump on the guitar.
Why this patch matters
This demo patch smooths out friction points identified during public playtests, making navigation and environmental interaction far more reliable.
