Minecraft Dungeons II Update Adds Steam Deck Support and Raises Emerald Cap

Minecraft Dungeons II is playable on Steam Deck, though some on-screen keyboard functions remain missing. All platforms also receive an emerald cap increase to 99,999.

An update for Minecraft Dungeons II brings Steam Deck compatibility alongside a currency adjustment. Players can take the game on the go, while everyone benefits from a higher currency limit.

Steam Deck Playability

The game runs on Steam Deck without a required client update. On-screen keyboard functionality may experience occasional issues. Future updates will arrive to secure full Steam Deck verification.

Emerald Cap Increase

Across all platforms, the maximum emerald limit rises from 9,999 to 99,999. This balance change requires no manual download and applies automatically the next time you log in.

Why this patch matters

This update makes Minecraft Dungeons II portable for handheld users and raises the emerald storage limit across all platforms.
