Mind Inc Patch 1.1 Overhauls Controls and Adds Lore Details

Mind Inc version 1.1 brings full mouse and keyboard control support, better puzzle feedback, and UI improvements for tracking progress. The patch also removes the Burnout achievement to make 100 percent completion more accessible.

Mind Inc has received its version 1.1 update, focusing primarily on quality-of-life adjustments requested by players. The patch addresses control limitations, adds helpful tracking markers to menus, and updates the secret room with new lore elements.

Controls and Input Upgrades

The update resolves all known issues tied to key rebinding. Players can now use the mouse to pick up, drop, and rotate puzzle pieces. Rotation controls now support both directions, giving players more flexibility during puzzles.

Progress Tracking and UI

Level selection cards now display the exact number of collected pins and the remaining count for each level. The start menu saves show total completed levels and collected pins. On the detective board, an approved icon now identifies cards that no longer require attention.

Puzzle Feedback and Secret Room

Puzzle pieces that fit together feature clearer visual feedback, and the put-down animation is smoother. The secret room has been refurbished with new posters and characters that expand the lore of Mind Inc.

Achievement Changes

The Burnout achievement has been removed from the game. Players can now finish the game with 100 percent completion without needing to replay it.

Why this patch matters

Version 1.1 removes several points of friction by fixing control bugs, adding mouse support, and streamlining progress tracking, making the overall puzzle experience smoother.
