Marvel Rivals Balance Update Buffs Iron Man and Adjusts Gorr

Marvel Rivals balance changes rework Iron Man's missiles, tweak Gorr's damage output, and adjust abilities across multiple Vanguard, Duelist, and Strategist heroes.

A fresh balance update for Marvel Rivals alters combat metrics for numerous heroes, introducing tracking missiles for Iron Man and scaling back select abilities for Gorr.

Duelist Adjustments

Iron Man's Micro-Missile Barrage now automatically tracks targets, with single-shot damage reduced to 10 and projectile speed increased to 60m/s. Gorr sees reductions to Shadow Scythe damage, Shockwave damage, and Twilight of the Gods duration. Cyclops gets increased Optic Blast damage and a lower ultimate energy cost. Hawkeye gains faster Piercing Arrow projectiles and wider Hypersonic Arrow hitboxes. Phoenix trades self-healing on spark detonations for temporary bonus health while dealing more damage. Scarlet Witch deals slightly less damage with Chthonian Burst.

Vanguard Adjustments

Devil Dinosaur's base health drops from 850 to 825. Hulk receives faster Banner form projectile speed and increased gamma energy from grenades, alongside enhanced team-up bonuses with Wolverine. Magneto's magnetic projection damage and duration increase when paired with Emma Frost. The Thing's team-up with Invisible Woman lowers Unbreakable Forces cooldown and lowers the threshold required to trigger healing.

Strategist Adjustments

Adam Warlock's healing from Cosmic Clusters increases when partnered with Ultron. Gambit experiences changes to charge times and target search ranges. Jubilee gains self-healing during Sparking Sprint, an increased ultimate healing field, and a shorter blind duration on Dazzling Detonation.

Why this patch matters

This balance pass shifts Iron Man into a more reliable tracking role while reining in peak damage dealers like Gorr and adjusting team-up synergies across the roster.
