Isle of Reveries Map Screen Overhaul Patch Notes

Isle of Reveries receives a major map screen overhaul, introducing visual art progression, custom placement pins, terrain zooming, and quality-of-life cleanups for completed objectives.

A new update for Isle of Reveries overhauls the overworld map screen, replacing dungeon-style rooms with full art progression and adding tracking tools such as custom pins and terrain zooming.

Art and Navigation

The overworld map now reveals full art as you enter rooms, and Lief's position appears as a blinking green circle. A free-moving cursor allows you to view area names and specific points of interest, including Bug Houses and Melodic Wells. You can also zoom into any grid space to inspect literal terrain and press a snap button to instantly return the view to Lief's position.

Pins and Legends

Players can place six different types of pins on any grid room, including unvisited locations. A toggleable legend explains the pin types, and hovering a cursor over a placed pin displays its designation.

Map Cleanup

Akedo Phone locations now display the required number of Leaves on the map. Revealed Soil from Zelen's sidequest reward auto-clears from the map. Melodic Wells disappear after you obtain their melody, though existing wells require you to enter and exit them to clear. Ancient Tablet locations also disappear after translation, with previously completed tablets clearing automatically upon entering each overworld zone.

Why this patch matters

The map overhaul gives players precise tools to track exploration progress and clean up finished objectives without cluttering the screen.
