inZOI v0.5.4 Hotfix Adds Drink Dispenser and Fixes Mod Display Issues
The v0.5.4 update introduces a dedicated Drink Dispenser object for mixed drinks and resolves inventory bugs involving disappearing food and sales counters.
Developer inZOI Team released hotfix v0.5.4 for Windows PC and Mac via Steam on January 15, 2026. This patch introduces a new object for preparing mixed drinks and addresses multiple critical bugs affecting dining, saving, and law enforcement interactions.
New Drink Dispenser Object
Mixed drinks are prepared through a new standalone Drink Dispenser object rather than bar tables. Developers placed these dispensers on selected lots to streamline beverage preparation.
Dining and Sales Bug Fixes
A bug where all food vanished when setting the table after portioning certain dishes is fixed. Another fix resolves an issue that prevented food from displaying correctly on sales counters when Object Mods were installed. Additionally, the Portion and Set Table interaction functions correctly on bar tables.
UI, Save, and Event Fixes
Selecting the Save Zoi Preset button responds properly when required information is missing. Original creator information is preserved correctly for Zoi Presets and Style Presets. Inner-thought speech bubble icons appear accurately when adjusting camera distance, empty speech bubbles no longer randomly pop up, and speech bubbles display reliably during conversations.
Gameplay and Crime Tweaks
Vehicles no longer halt when players select the Go to the Business Property interaction while driving. Trial events proceed normally without breaking if they trigger at the same time as another Zoi event, though saves where this already occurred may still experience problems. Furthermore, arrests during minor crime interactions happen much less frequently.

Hotfix v0.5.4 cleans up frequent progression blocks during simultaneous events and corrects dining glitches, while introducing the standalone Drink Dispenser for beverage crafting.
