inZOI v0.4.4 Hotfix Patch Notes
The v0.4.4 hotfix for inZOI fixes overlapping user interface elements, build mode deck deletions, and household cleanliness tracking alongside thought bubble and dish-clearing changes.
A new hotfix for inZOI is live on Steam for Windows PC and Mac users. Version v0.4.4 resolves interface bugs, build mode anomalies, and simulation logic issues.
Gameplay and Simulation Fixes
Zois clean houses properly because the House Cleanliness metric decreases as intended. Thought bubbles appear less often and match situations accurately. Players can clear all dishes at once if two hours pass following a meal. Beach crowd Zois stop changing outfits repeatedly or switching to swimwear during rainy and snowy weather.
Build Mode Corrections
Deleting a deck placed over floor tiles no longer deletes underlying floor tiles. Floor tile sizes retain custom settings instead of resetting to default when loading a save file. The search autocomplete list functions correctly in the Property Presets tab.
UI, Options, and Mac Adjustments
Main user interface elements like portraits, Needs, Emotions, and Urges stop overlapping when starting a new game or loading a save file. Players move and place UI elements freely from saved files without unexpected layout shifts. Selecting Reset to Default in Game Options stops triggering incorrect Property Reset popups. On Mac systems, the Rabbithole Skip screen displays normally, and executing Update Site Manually from the lobby options menu stops infinite loading.
Why this patch matters
Version v0.4.4 provides fixes for build mode persistence and interface layout bugs without altering core systems.
