inZOI v0.4.2 Hotfix Patch Notes

The inZOI v0.4.2 hotfix adjusts dirt accumulation speeds, allows funeral planning while carrying urns, and enables ghosts to sit on chairs. The update also fixes missing MY textures and social event bugs.

Hotfix v0.4.2 is available for inZOI players across Windows PC Steam, Mac Steam, and the Mac App Store. This patch introduces adjustments for clothing maintenance and event interactions alongside bug fixes.

Simulation and Interaction Adjustments

Clothes and furniture accumulate dirt at a natural pace. Zois trigger Plan Funeral interactions while carrying an urn, and ghosts gain the ability to sit on chairs. Thieves successfully flee when caught picking a door lock. Family members, including newborns and infants, are restricted from moving residences.

Event and Social Fixes

Housewarming event interactions stop letting Zois express gratitude after receiving a gift, and Send Thank-You Letter expectations fulfill correctly. Trick or Treat events stop activating simultaneously, and participating children return home properly when events end. Scripted actions in date events play in sequence when pressing the Play button, and social event Next buttons respond consistently.

Visual and Platform-Specific Fixes

MY Textures applied to tops, bottoms, and roof outer surfaces display properly without disappearing or appearing overly dark. Mac App Store users log into Canvas through the in-game browser, and clicking the Canvas Halloween Event banner redirects correctly. Mac users switching from separate tops and bottoms to full outfits stop experiencing visual clothing overlap.
