inZOI Outfit Mod Compatibility Notice for the ModKit Update
inZOI creators must re-upload existing outfit mods using the new ModKit version following bone and LOD3 updates designed to improve low-spec animation performance.
An upcoming Character Optimization update for inZOI alters bone information used for Character LOD3 on June 18 to boost animation performance on lower-spec hardware.
Mod Compatibility and Visual Impact
Because of the skeletal updates for LOD3, character skinning on older custom outfits may appear broken or display incorrect mesh geometry when characters transition to LOD3 distance levels. This is strictly a visual compatibility issue rather than a crash trigger, and it does not affect higher LOD levels.
Steps for Mod Creators
Creators do not need to perform manual rigging adjustments, weight painting, or manual LOD editing. Affected projects simply need to be opened in the new version of ModKit releasing on June 18, saved or updated when prompted, and then uploaded to CurseForge again. CurseForge Cloud Cooking will automatically apply the updated LOD3 compatibility information upon upload.
Why this patch matters
Creators can easily resolve LOD3 mesh stretching by running their existing projects through the updated ModKit without altering weights or rigging.
