inZOI: Creative Studio March 22 Hotfix Addresses Memory Spikes and Save Errors

The March 22 hotfix for inZOI: Creative Studio fixes memory consumption spikes, Intel VRAM error handling, save failures, and Character Studio display bugs.

The development team deployed a hotfix for inZOI: Creative Studio on March 22 at 15:50 UTC, fixing system memory leaks, launch errors on low-VRAM graphics cards, and multiple editing mode bugs.

Launch and System Fixes

Launching the game on Intel integrated graphics cards with 128 MB VRAM no longer triggers a DirectX 12 error message. The game now displays a warning when video memory is insufficient. The update also fixes a rapid consumption issue affecting physical memory and the page file, corrects unsupported resolutions in windowed mode, and stops unnecessary large files from uploading alongside creations on Canvas.

Save and Navigation Errors

Save failures caused by leaving the file name blank no longer occur. The lobby tablet will no longer display the Canvas Under Construction page incorrectly. The patch also stops data loss when selecting Save and Exit in Build Studio.

Build Studio Corrections

Build Studio fixes prevent players from controlling the Zoi character outside of Build Mode under certain conditions. 3D objects now retain their appearance when returning to the last saved property, and property presets have been adjusted. The Needs and Skills pop-ups no longer appear immediately upon entering Build Studio. The update also stops the UI from disappearing during Canvas uploads, and prevents pressing ESC while using the 3D Printer from turning off lighting effects into a dark screen.

Character Studio Adjustments

Character Studio updates stop a Zoi torso from disappearing when opening 3D Printer Decorations with all outfits hidden, and resolve torso disappearance issues on NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti systems during specific steps. The chin gizmo now appears near the chin during facial customization, and wristwatch accessories no longer display overlapping textures.

Why this patch matters

This update targets stability, stopping memory leaks and fixing critical save bugs across both Build and Character studios.
