Hunt: Showdown 1896 Update 2.1.1 moves Harvest of Ghosts content into regular progression, restricts Nvidia Profile Inspector, and addresses UI and gameplay bugs.
Update 2.1.1 is live for Hunt: Showdown 1896, shifting content from the Harvest of Ghosts event into the standard progression tracks. The patch also restricts Nvidia Profile Inspector, updates store interfaces, and resolves a list of crash, matchmaking, and combat bugs.
Progression and Weapon Unlocks
Harvest of Ghosts items now sit within standard progression. Rifles including the Maynard Sniper and its Dumdum and High Velocity ammo arrive at Bloodline Rank 1, alongside the Centennial Pointman at unlock five in the Centennial family. Shotguns add the Auto-4 Shorty and Rival 78 Mace. The Bomb Launcher acts as the base weapon for the Bomb Lance, requiring 600 XP with the Bomb Launcher family to unlock the lance. Special items like the Bomb Launcher Harpoon, Hand Crossbow Revive Bolt, and the Dark Dynamite Satchel at Bloodline Rank 46 join the pool.
Store Updates and UI Fixes
Store communication changes to prevent accidental purchases. All prices except bundle pop-ups show the full individual price, while bundle discounts retain a badge. Double-clicking is disabled on the bundle store page, and a purchase confirmation pop-up appears. The update fixes an issue where skins could swap locations and preview incorrectly, and resolves a bug where clicking filters activated the search bar and made shortcuts disappear. The DLC store correctly links to Steam shop pages and fixes Hunter banner display errors.
Matchmaking and Combat Fixes
The patch addresses a bug where the against-teams-of-three bonus applied to a team of two when selected. It resolves an exploit that allowed a specific type of dynamite to respawn and be looted after exploding. A bug where placing a Dark Dynamite Satchel outside hearing range made it silent is fixed. Other fixes stop game clients from staying in matchmaking mode indefinitely when receiving no response from servers, and resolve rare crashes during ready-up and loading into Bounty Clash.
