Gloomwood Patch v0.1.303 Expands Winter Event
Gloomwood celebrates the holidays by extending the General Winter event, adding seasonal touches, and fixing navigation bugs.
Patch v0.1.303 for Gloomwood extends the General Winter event through January 10 and introduces a wide array of environment tweaks, AI adjustments, and bug fixes.
Seasonal Content and Environment
Winter aesthetics expand across the game world. Watchdogs, infected rats, crowmen, crowkings, and crowbabies now wear winter attire, while indoor and outdoor spaces feature new winter ambient audio and icicle props near statues. Snowball mechanics receive fixes for blind duration, and additional snowball piles appear in the City Market and City Underport.
AI and Combat Adjustments
Artificial intelligence perception and combat reactions see minor tweaks. AI sight range increases slightly during Full and Blood Moons, and non-alert dark vision range is extended. Several AI attack states now allow headshots and flinch reactions to interrupt attacks. Iron key pickups feature increased brightness for better visibility in unlit areas.
Navigation and Area Fixes
Level geometry improvements resolve pathfinding and interaction roadblocks. The Coast Fishery, Coast Cliffside, City Market, and City Underport areas receive collision and geometry fixes, including repaired gate heights, elevator power indicators, and functional valve receptacles. Finale elevator mechanics and lower-platform seals are reinforced for stability.
Why this patch matters
A practical holiday update that keeps the seasonal event running longer while resolving persistent navigation, audio, and physics issues.
