Frozen Ship Update 0.2.132 Adds Crew Surgery and World Tweaks
Frozen Ship update 0.2.132 introduces crew surgery, tradeable recipes, a Field of View slider, and new world generation islands.
Frozen Ship version 0.2.132 alters survival mechanics with new medical options, economic adjustments, and world generation additions. The patch addresses persistent bugs while adding quality-of-life settings like an FOV slider.
Gameplay Additions and Survival Adjustments
Players can perform surgery on crew members suffering from severe injuries. Exploration yields recipes and research notes that can be collected, bought, and sold to traders. A new Preventive Module lowers crew sickness rates, and the E-Pep energy drink joins the item pool. Bears no longer engage in indefinite chases, and falling asleep and waking up animations run faster. Windows and the ship accumulate frost visuals.
Quest and Interface Changes
In the St. Mark's Hospital quest, locating the hospital is no longer a mandatory objective. The Research Center can no longer be upgraded while active research is underway, and the Productivity Module can no longer be installed there. Interface additions include an FOV slider, Hungarian localization, German updates, a bunker entry tutorial, and item storage highlighting. Production queues display No Workers when unstaffed, and reload prompts inform players when magazines are full or weapons are empty.
Bug Fixes and Exploit Patches
The patch resolves several issues, including an exploit where items in active Smelter and Workshop queues completed instantly after loading a save, and a bug that allowed infinite looting after reloads. Evening terminal assignments for workers function correctly, and furnaces no longer display active fire when turned off. Crafting issues preventing Steel and Fur Boots, Copper Rods, and Clothing Repair Kits from being picked up or made have been corrected.
Why this patch matters
Update 0.2.132 stabilizes Frozen Ship by plugging economy exploits and adding quality-of-life features like crew surgery and an FOV slider.
