Frosthaven Hotfix Resolves Progression Stalls and Crashes

A new closed beta hotfix for Frosthaven addresses multiple progression bugs, scenario soft locks, and UI display errors. The update also fixes card interactions for characters such as the Boneshaper, Geminate, and Snowdancer.

A closed beta hotfix for Frosthaven is live, targeting progression blockers, system crashes, and incorrect card behaviors across various scenarios and characters.

Scenario Progression and Crash Fixes

Progress no longer stalls in the Rusted Tunnels scenario after tunnel supports are destroyed, or in Glowing Catacombs when restarting a round after pulling a lever. The game avoids crashes caused by using an item between two monster attacks, applying bane twice to a character, or monsters drawing attack modifiers. A soft lock during the resource allocation screen of Winter Road Event 5 is fixed, and using the Fluid Night bottom action persistent bonus no longer freezes the game when no shadows are available for teleportation.

Character and Card Corrections

The Boneshaper card Bone dagger receives major bug fixes, and the Eternal torment top action now correctly grants the attack effect even if the target is immune to curses. The Animate perk correctly heals the Boneshaper when drawn by a summon. Geminate can no longer switch forms while other characters are short resting, and the Scarab Flight top action calculates range correctly. The Snowdancer card Enticing Breeze no longer causes crashes, and Blinkblade damage values update properly when using items.

UI and Interface Improvements

Items in the Starting menu, Merchant, Craftsman, and Alchemist now appear in stacks instead of separately. The Barracks is removed from the Available Buildings filter, and outpost modifiers now appear in the outpost general info. New assets are added when building a wall, and chests are lootable by both players and hero summons.

Why this patch matters

This hotfix clears out critical blockers and card errors, stabilizing the closed beta experience for campaign participants.
