Fountains Patch 1.1.1 Reorganizes Boss Rewards and Adds Free Tool Slots

Fountains patch 1.1.1 ensures every boss grants a tool and introduces two bosses capable of awarding free tool slot upgrades. The update also improves guard knight animations, reduces the frequency of the Blessing of Amtarr, and fixes a quest blocker.

Fountains version 1.1.1 alters item distribution across the world while addressing quality-of-life issues and technical bugs. Boss encounters now guarantee tool rewards, and players can revisit defeated bosses to claim items that have been relocated.

Boss Rewards and Tool Relocation

Every boss in the game now grants a specific tool upon defeat. Because of this change, several tools have moved from their original field locations. Players who missed these items can return to the rooms of previously defeated bosses to collect them. None of these items are mandatory to finish the game. Additionally, two specific bosses now offer free tool slot upgrades.

Visuals, Dialogue, and Balance Tweaks

Guard Knights feature more readable animations to help players time defensive maneuvers. Dialogue updates have been applied for Russian and Turkish languages. The Blessing of Amtarr interrupts gameplay much less frequently than before.

Bug Fixes and Technical Adjustments

A rare issue where players could fall off cliffs during dashes has been resolved. Ricard's quest no longer ends prematurely before Krus is defeated. A map interaction error that permitted players to activate a specific door while standing directly on top of it is fixed. Low-end machines will also experience better performance around flamethrowers.
