Fields of Mistria Patch v1.0.6 Fixes Crashes and Memory Leaks

Patch v1.0.6 for Fields of Mistria targets memory leaks, display bugs, and crash causes.

The latest update for Fields of Mistria tackles stability issues, display mode inversions, and OBS streaming quirks.

Stability and Crashes

The patch addresses the memory leak introduced in v1.0.5 alongside a rare secondary memory leak. It also prevents crashes caused by throwing Clod Bombs, NPC pathfinding failures, and exiting the game.

Display and OBS Capture

Fullscreen and Borderless display modes, which were previously inverted, now operate correctly. OBS Game Capture and Window Capture function again, though streamers may need to disable Native Cursor in the in-game graphics settings if the cursor fails to appear on stream.

Visuals and Quality of Life

Returning to the main menu no longer triggers a black screen. An unattainable food item was removed from the Almanac, small animal heart barks reappear when picked up, and wedding photos display the correct background instead of the player house. Additionally, babies render at the correct depth in cradles, donated seal items appear correctly on altar claws, essence stones render on sprite statues, and mill exterior ambient sounds play only after repair.

Localization

Russian and Simplified Chinese text updates intended for the previous patch are now fully implemented.
