Fields of Mistria Patch v0.11.4 Fixes Crashes and Adjusts Animal Mechanics

Fields of Mistria receives patch v0.11.4, focusing on crash resolutions, gift adjustments for NPCs, and quality-of-life changes for animal management and tool accessibility.

Fields of Mistria has launched patch v0.11.4, prioritizing stability fixes alongside adjustments to community-requested dialogue, item availability, and gameplay mechanics.

Stability and Crash Fixes

Multiple issues causing the game to crash are resolved. This includes crashes tied to walking in front of Dozy during the Spring Festival, database positioning errors for NPCs, invalid localization keys for control resets, exiting inventory screens after swapping items, using the pickaxe at 2:00 AM, fishing, and attempting to place small animals into shipping bins. Invalid saves trigger a popup instead of crashing on startup.

Animal and Farm Management

Female and male animals expecting offspring can no longer be sold, moved to different farm buildings, or placed into the daycare. Animals previously moved with active expectant status have their status reverted while remaining in their current slots. Black Rabbits are adjusted from Tier 3 to Tier 2.

NPC Adjustments and Gifts

Additional gift lines are added for all NPCs, and Balor has new dialogue at the Saturday Market. Potato is a liked gift instead of loved for Holt, while Crystal Berries are a loved gift for Darcy. Dozy and Henrietta no longer speak human NPC dialogue, and birthday dialogue bugs are corrected.

Gameplay and Quality of Life

Basic tools such as the Worn Watering Can, Worn Hoe, and Worn Sword are sold at the General Store. The beach bridge repairs properly even if the cutscene is skipped. Stacking and speed bugs associated with Hasty armor are removed, and weapon damage numbers round to the nearest integer.

Why this patch matters

Patch v0.11.4 shores up fundamental game stability while delivering practical quality-of-life adjustments requested by the community.
