Endless Legend 2 Update v43 Fixes Economy Bugs and Faction Traits
Endless Legend 2 Update v43 targets community-reported bugs, addressing industry queue issues, custom faction traits, and quest progression errors.
Update v43 for Endless Legend 2 focuses squarely on bug fixes reported by the community. The patch addresses economy queue behavior, faction-specific traits, world generation errors, and various technical stability issues.
Economy and Faction Fixes
The update fixes an issue where industry failed to invest when the construction queue was full, and corrects surplus feedback for queues. Specific improvements like the Tahuk Astronomy Club, Fish Farm, and Hydropump now correctly affect bridges, extractors, and villages. Several custom faction traits receive corrections, including fixes for the Suburban Dream trait blocking merchant houses or farms, and the Sandshapers' Djinns of the Desert trait no longer blocks farm construction. Sandshapers also receive a 50 percent industry cost reduction on extractors in place of previous Preservation technology effects.
Quests, Military, and World Generation
World generation is adjusted to prevent empires or resources from spawning on isolated cut-off islands. Quest card animations now disable properly when game speed is set to none in settings, and specific fortresses now destroy correctly upon quest completion. Last Lords quest objectives are updated, lowering the fortress level in Chapter 3 and reducing the required rifts to close from 5 to 3 in Chapter 4. Military changes fix missing icons in the Pilgrim skill tree, prevent retreating armies from getting stuck inside enemy city walls, and resolve issues with the Jinxed status healing improperly.
Interface and Stability
Gamepad UI navigation is added to protectorate cards for minor factions on Steam Deck and consoles. End-game screens now show the correct number of turns played, and construction queue placeholder icons are removed. The patch also resolves 35 additional technical problems, including crashes, exceptions, and stability issues.
Why this patch matters
Update v43 delivers a dense round of targeted fixes that smooth out economy calculations, custom faction rules, and quest progression blockers.
