Dragon's Dogma 2 Title Update Fixes Quest Blockers and Pawn Glitches

A new Dragon's Dogma 2 title update on Steam resolves a quest-breaking bug during Nesting Troubles, fixes unresponsive Calm and Straightforward pawns, and tunes spell power.

A targeted title update is now live for the Steam version of Dragon's Dogma 2, addressing progression halts in side content and fixing odd behavior with pawn inclinations and magic scaling.

Quest and Map Fixes

The update resolves an issue during the Nesting Troubles quest where throwing the jar of poison into the saurian nest failed to trigger quest progression. It also fixes a bug where the minimap would repeatedly zoom in and out while passing through the Hermit's Retreat.

Pawn and Combat Adjustments

Pawns with Calm or Straightforward inclinations no longer cease all activity after failing to use Levitate. In addition, the patch fixes an issue that caused the spell Maelstrom to have its power drastically increased when Myrddin fought alongside the player party.

Why this patch matters

This quick patch solves a few glaring annoyances, most notably unsticking the Nesting Troubles quest and toning down Myrddin's overperforming Maelstrom spell.
