Dokimon Quest Major Update Reworks Battle Speed and Doubles PC Storage
Dokimon Quest updates with a completely rewritten battle speed-up function, doubled PC storage boxes, and Steam screenshot support. The patch also addresses numerous collision errors, battle glitches, and missing UI elements.
Dokimon Quest has received a significant update focused on technical fixes, quality-of-life additions, and expanded storage space for players.
Battle Speed and Quality of Life
The battle speed-up function has been remade from scratch to function correctly across all monitors while operating slightly faster than before. Steam screenshot functionality has been added via the F12 key. Other additions include a type effectiveness helper on the battle target selection screen, a girl sprite for the undercover player outfit, and a party heal-up after specific encounters.
World and Storage Expansions
PC storage boxes are doubled from 6 to 12. Three new battle backgrounds are added for wasteland and fairy forest biomes, along with overworld visuals for fairies, a heart character in the font, and updated dartarget sprites.
Battle and Gameplay Bug Fixes
Multiple battle issues are resolved, including enemies getting a second chance to attack, first-turn move errors, and rare bugs with the experience system. Fixes also address a bug where battles starting on cave exit doors glitched characters out of the map, and an error with global contact variables.
Map, UI, and Quest Fixes
Tile placement, depth issues, and collisions are improved across various areas. Fixes resolve missing category pages in the items UI menu, log path blocking obstacles, and missing background lines on yellow party UI previews. Conversation bugs with Professor Rena and incorrect enemy defeat names have also been corrected.
Why this patch matters
This update resolves persistent technical hurdles like monitor-specific speed bugs and collision errors while doubling storage capacity for collectors.
