Delta Force Starfall Update Adds Hot Zone and Alexei Petrov
Delta Force launches the Starfall season with a new 3v3v3 mode, the engineer operator Alexei Petrov, constructible fortifications, new maps, and balance updates.
Delta Force launches its Starfall season alongside a massive content drop. The update introduces a 3v3v3 PvP mode, constructible fortifications, a new playable operator, expanded maps, and widespread combat optimizations across Warfare and Operations modes.
New Operations and Modes
A new 3v3v3 PvP mode named Hot Zone runs from January 18 to February 13, tasking squads with uploading the MandelCell on a compact map over two-minute rounds. Players spend points earned from kills and round outcomes on gear presets. Operations adds the Underground area to Zero Dam and the Broken Bridge area to Space City, featuring new map events and objectives.
Fortifications and Movement Systems
Warfare introduces a construction hammer tool allowing players to build covers, obstacles, and stationary weapons with globally synchronized progress. A new Leap evasive maneuver is added exclusively to Warfare, enabling forward movement during sprints while restricting aiming and primary firing.
New Operator and Loadout Additions
Alexei Petrov, codename Sineva, joins the roster as an Engineer equipped with a Total Armor heavy vest, a deployable shield, a Grapple Gun, and Razor Wire. Three new weapons arrive, including the SR9 marksman rifle, QCQ171 submachine gun, and QJB201 light machine gun, accompanied by new ammunition types and thermal optics.
Map Adjustments and Balance Changes
Ascension receives a major map event where the spire in Zone D can be destroyed with heavy firepower, revealing underground tunnels and relocating the objective. Operations mode difficulty adjustments lower enemy counts and boss health values in Brakkesh and Space City, while Warfare mode updates vehicle handling, spawn rules, and scoring categories.
Progression and Quality of Life
Ranked season progress resets alongside the introduction of new season missions, reduced mission counts, and updated safe box trial cards. TurBricks replace standard acquisition loops with free-to-open rewards containing Deluxe Charms with color tiers and collection features. PC players also gain cloud storage settings for preferences and individual operator keybind customization.
Why this patch matters
Starfall brings a sweeping suite of tactical additions, from buildable cover and the Hot Zone mode to operator tweaks and economy resets, altering match flow across both main modes.
