Cupid's Chatroom Patch 1.1 Adds Gallery Zoom and Free DLC News
Cupid's Chatroom version 1.1 is live with bug fixes, gallery improvements, and a save deletion confirmation prompt. Developer Atelier on the Moon also announced that the upcoming Cupid DLC will be free.
Atelier on the Moon has released version 1.1 for Cupid's Chatroom, fixing several lingering interface and scripting issues while introducing small quality-of-life upgrades to the gallery and menus. Alongside the patch notes, the studio confirmed that its upcoming Cupid expansion will release as free DLC in the first quarter of 2027.
Bug Fixes and Stability
The patch resolves an issue where direct message choices incorrectly appeared in group chats after loading a save. It also fixes a progression-blocking save and load bug tied to Oliver's Day 5 call, corrects chat auto-advance speed sliders, fixes the Flutter Birdy scoreboard number display, and removes an afterimage glitch on heart animations. Minor dialogue and scripting errors involving Daeho, Roman, and Joseph have also been corrected.
New Features and Interface Additions
Players can now use the mouse wheel or touchpad to zoom into CG images in the gallery. The video-call prescreen art has been added to the gallery as well, and a confirmation popup now appears when deleting saves. Developers are still investigating an infrequent permanent loading screen bug and request that affected players email their log files.
Cupid DLC Announcement
Due to strict budget limitations, the base game adhered to a strict advertised word count. To give players more content, the team decided to pivot the upcoming Cupid DLC from a paid release to a completely free add-on. It is scheduled to launch in Q1 2027.
Why this patch matters
Version 1.1 cleans up frustrating interface and load-state bugs while offering a welcome surprise for fans looking forward to free story DLC next year.
