Craftopia 4th Anniversary Mini Update v20240903.2309 Brings New Gear and Boss Adjustments
Craftopia's fourth anniversary mini update adds event enemies, craftable items, high-level boss spawns, vehicle physics changes, and substantial weapon balance adjustments.
Pocketpair has released update v20240903.2309 for Craftopia, celebrating the game's fourth anniversary with new event content, weapons, vehicles, and sweeping mechanical adjustments.
Anniversary Content and Spawns
Defeating the new Monobis enemy during the anniversary event yields 4th Anniversary Mono Coins. Players can craft themed gear like Monocaliberburn, Claymono, and Monobis Gold Staff at the Blacksmith, alongside Mono Balloons and the 4th Anniversary Monoment. Level 60 boss variations have been added to the Owatatsu Archipelago and Sherbert Iceberg boss areas, while Hydra and Tyrant Snake can now be captured as pets.
Weapon Balance Overhauls
Spear charges now allow turning while moving, feature reduced stamina consumption, and grant the spear-throwing buff in two stages with stronger thrust attacks. Bow weak-spot damage has been reduced while resistant-spot damage has been increased. Magic Staff Arcana Bolt targeting now uses camera direction, and Shield dash attacks have been removed alongside adjustments to enemy knockback reactions.
Boss and Quality-of-Life Adjustments
Dragons now always use intimidation after lava or quicksand attacks, and destroying all destructible parts on Fenrir significantly lowers its defense. Griffin and Autumn Griffin skill durations and damages have been re-tuned. Quality-of-life updates include stopping unoccupied vehicles instantly when they drop below a certain speed, adding pet storage chest naming, and requiring specific button inputs to switch between keyboard and controller to prevent infinite input loops.
Performance and Bug Fixes
String operations have been optimized to improve UI performance. The patch fixes numerous bugs, including random treasure chests spawning on walls, rivers flooding in Maiazuma Marsh, players falling through floors during Fafnir just attacks, and missing pet management rendering.
