Cozy Game Restoration Patch V1 Updates Menus and Buffs CD Scratches

Cozy Game Restoration receives a new update adjusting autocomplete, CD scratches, and UI elements. The patch addresses several interface quirks while developer Adam investigates ongoing Linux and tutorial bugs.

Cozy Game Restoration developer Adam has released two demo updates addressing balance and interface design. The latest patch disables autocomplete and increases the impact of CD scratches on percentage calculations.

Balance and Interface Adjustments

Autocomplete is disabled because it was overpowered. CD scratches are buffed so percentage calculations factor them in more heavily. The Super16 cartridge now correctly fades its UV glow when highlighted.

Menu and Navigation Consistency

All menus now use a single unified booklet design. A consolidated top bar houses these elements for easier navigation.

Known Issues Under Investigation

Linux builds contain a bug causing buttons to disappear intermittently. Localization is missing on certain menus, though community translations are in progress. Square aspect ratios can cause cropping problems on the booklet interface. Additionally, skipping the collection room before starting the tutorial can cause the game to trigger a tutorial loop.

Why this patch matters

This update makes navigation cleaner and dials in item balance for the demo, though players should still watch out for known Linux and tutorial quirks.
