Counter-Strike 2 Update Tweaks Party Limits and Dust II Radar
Valve has released a minor update for Counter-Strike 2, adjusting party matchmaking limits for Premier Season Two and refining the Dust II radar image. The patch also fixes several interface and input prediction bugs.
Valve has deployed a new update for Counter-Strike 2 focused on party matchmaking parameters, interface fixes, and map clarity. The changes aim to ease party restrictions for players returning from the previous season while clearing up input and menu bugs.
Matchmaking Party Limits
Developers adjusted the logic governing maximum skill rating gaps for parties queuing together. For most players who formed parties during Premier Season One, the new parameters allow them to queue together again in Premier Season Two.
Interface and Visual Adjustments
A new Get Service Medal button now appears directly on the main menu profile card. The update also resolves a bug that caused display medals to disappear from main menu profiles and updates the Dust II radar image to improve map accuracy.
Input Fixes
The patch addresses a bug where pressing the inspect or reload buttons could trigger unwanted prediction errors during matches.
Why this patch matters
This quick patch resolves persistent UI omissions and gives returning Premier groups more flexibility, though it leaves core gameplay untouched.
