Counter-Strike 2 Update Resolves AUG Scope and Radar UI Bugs

Valve has deployed a focused Counter-Strike 2 update fixing visual rendering bugs on water surfaces, addressing low-resolution Premier progress bar errors, and updating radar scaling limits.

A new Counter-Strike 2 update is live, targeting various visual glitches, UI rendering bugs, and radar display behaviors across competitive and casual matches.

Visual and UI Fixes

The update fixes an AUG scope stencil filter bug that occurred near water surfaces. UI panels that previously failed to render transparently when CMAA2 and HDR performance settings were used simultaneously now display correctly. The Premier progress bar has also been repaired for players utilizing low resolutions.

Radar and Audio Adjustments

The dynamic radar scale has been updated to snap instantly to full size when a newly discovered enemy or the C4 enters view, while continuing to shrink gradually when targets disappear and time elapses. The radar settings user interface now supports the full configuration range from 0.25 to 1.0 values. Additionally, lingering inspection audio from Train scenery is properly cleared when returning to the main menu.

Server and Movement Corrections

Misprediction error smoothing near walls has been adjusted to prevent players from visually clipping through solid geometry. A cloth simulation bug affecting local servers running loopback=1 has also been resolved.

Why this patch matters

This minor Counter-Strike 2 update cleans up essential radar parameters, UI rendering quirks, and water-surface scope anomalies.
