Counter-Strike 2 Update Brings Map Clipping and C4 Stuck Spot Fixes

The latest Counter-Strike 2 update fixes map collision exploits, C4 stuck spots, and grenade clipping across Office, Nuke, Mirage, Inferno, Italy, Vertigo, Ancient, Anubis, and Overpass.

A maintenance update for Counter-Strike 2 addresses geometry glitches, collision exploits, and C4 retrieval issues across multiple maps.

Bomb Site and Geometry Adjustments

Multiple maps receive collision fixes to eliminate C4 stuck spots where the bomb could become irretrievable. Affected areas include Nuke, Inferno, and Anubis. Ancient features a fix for a bad clip edge at T spawn that previously trapped players, alongside a fix for a pixel peak.

Grenade Clipping and Movement Tweaks

Grenade clipping and collision adjustments apply to Mirage, Vertigo, Anubis, and Italy to maintain predictable utility bounces. Mirage also features van collision adjustments for smoother movement, a fix for wall penetration near arches, and a fix for view jittering when jumping on crates near palace.

Map-Specific Polish

Office fixes an issue where players could get stuck between props and the ceiling. Inferno removes a boost spot in the pit near A site. Overpass addresses minor visual bugs near the canal, adds missing handrail collision, and tweaks park clipping for smoother movement. Italy and Nuke receive general performance improvements and pixel walk corrections.

Why this patch matters

This update delivers map cleanliness by removing unintended boost spots, movement snags, and geometry traps across the active map pool.
