Counter-Strike 2 Update Adjusts Train and Basalt Maps
The latest Counter-Strike 2 update brings collision fixes to Train, map updates to Basalt, and language fallback corrections. Players will also find minor audio adjustments and platform gap fixes across the map pool.
A Counter-Strike 2 update makes targeted adjustments to map geometry, audio bugs, and missing localization text. The patch refines collisions on Train, updates Basalt to its latest community version, and resolves localized text fallback errors.
Map Adjustments and Collision Fixes
Train receives multiple collision corrections, including higher fidelity for the orange train on B site, stretched texture fixes, and patched gaps in the map layout. Player collision is disabled on the radio, and a vphysics clip is added to the platform gap in T spawn. Players can now access the cratestack outside of longdog. Overpass fixes include a lighting bug on Bombsite B, and Basalt updates to the latest version from the Community Workshop.
Audio and Localization Fixes
A bug where missing text for a user language failed to fall back to English is resolved. The update also addresses a footstep sound bug on mud surfaces and updates the radio sound.
