Counter-Strike 2 Update Adjusts Inferno and Updates Drops

Counter-Strike 2 updates Inferno and Train geometry, alters player and grenade collisions, refreshes Weekly Care Package drop pools, and adds the Train 2025 Collection.

A Counter-Strike 2 update modifies map geometry on Inferno and Train, adjusts collision properties, and refreshes weapon drop pools.

Inferno and Train Geometry

Inferno receives several spatial changes. Banana is resized to match the CS:GO version, the background behind T ramp and the view into Pit are simplified, and Bombsite B background details are streamlined. Step geometry on the sides of the Arch hallway is removed, a pixel gap at Coffin is closed, and crates on the steps leading to the balcony are adjusted for reliable player movement. Additional prop and collision tweaks apply across players, grenades, and the map layout. On Train, player shadows no longer render through windows above A main, world holes are patched, the back wall by the door to Z and the background by the upper B entrance are simplified, and the overhead roof rail in A site is shortened to assist utility throws. The see-through grating on the catwalk outside the Z door and the fences at the top of Ivy are replaced with solid versions. The brick wall by Ivy is simplified, and grenade collision on the upper B arch is fixed.

Weekly Drops and Armory Content

Three weapon collections—Ascent, Boreal, and Radiant—join the Weekly Care Package drop list. Four collections are removed: Bank, Italy, Lake, and the original Train collection. New Armory additions include the Train 2025 Collection, the Fever Case, and the XM1014 | Solitude Inferno limited-edition item.
