Clive Barker's Hellraiser: Revival Demo Patch 2 Fixes Save Transfers and AI Bugs
The latest demo update for Clive Barker's Hellraiser: Revival tackles achievement imports, enemy AI issues, audio cutouts, and progression blockers.
A fresh update for the Clive Barker's Hellraiser: Revival demo arrives to address save transfer issues and smooth out general gameplay. The patch fixes several bugs tied to enemy behavior, audio drops, and visual glitches encountered throughout the demo build.
Save Transfers and Progression
The patch resolves a bug where certain achievements failed to carry over progress when importing demo saves into the full game. It also fixes an unlocalized save-import prompt. A crash on Hard difficulty is fixed, along with several general blockers and softlocks. A controller auto-rotate issue on the 3D diamond puzzle is also removed, and the import button text is adjusted to fit inside its UI frame.
Gameplay and Movement
Combat and movement issues receive multiple adjustments. The Chatterer no longer goes idle during chase sequences, and a ranged cultist bug preventing attacks has been corrected. Cultists also stop turning unnaturally at the edge of chase zones. Additional fixes prevent the player from clipping through assets during flinch animations and getting stuck on doors during sprint tutorials. Telekinesis attacks with PlayGo enabled now display proper blood visual effects, and proximity-triggered dialogue and animation timings are corrected.
Audio and Atmosphere
Sound design fixes target overlapping voice lines, missing interaction effects, and abrupt music transitions. Bruno no longer speaks two overlapping lines after respawning, and cultist banter volume near his office is restored. Music cues and combat tracks in the Tunnels, Kitchen, Storage, and Bruno's office now trigger and fade correctly instead of cutting out when climbing ladders. Missing crowd chatter, gas bottle and fire extinguisher interaction sounds, and Altar Room ambient audio are added, while Aidan's ladder step-down sounds now match the surface material.
Visuals and Cinematics
Graphic fixes eliminate moving lightbulb artifacts, flickering shadows, mesh holes exposing skyboxes, and gaps in the Chatterer chase doors and walls. Pop-in shadows near knife pickups and overly bright Negatoscopes in Bruno's office are toned down. A mislocalized Russian door sign during the Charlotte chase is changed to English. Cinematic fixes remove stray visual effects during the Slaying Victim sequence, stop a cultist dragging animation loop, and fix Charlotte shaking during the cliff cutscene.
Why this patch matters
This quality-of-life patch cleans up essential demo mechanics, ensuring smoother progression and fewer technical hiccups ahead of full game transitions.
