Cairn Demo Update 0.2.13_723 Adds Manual Limb Selection
The latest Cairn demo update introduces four manual limb selection schemes, Korean localization, and several bug fixes for rope movement and soft locks.
A new demo update for Cairn arrives with player-requested control schemes for manual limb movement, alongside language support and critical bug fixes.
Manual Limb Selection Control Schemes
Players can choose from four distinct manual control schemes to direct climbing movements precisely. Options include face buttons and shoulder buttons on gamepads, WASD on keyboards, and quadrant selection for both input types, supported by improved limb detection and visual helpers.
Localization and Bug Fixes
The patch adds full Korean localization. Technical fixes resolve rope movement anomalies, low-reproduction soft locks, incorrect controller prompt displays for PS4 hardware, off-belay detection errors, and camera clipping through the ground during recap paths.
Why this patch matters
This update addresses core climbing gripes by giving players absolute control over individual limb placement while clearing up navigation bugs.
