Bus Simulator 27 Update 1.18 Adds Italian and Brazilian Portuguese Languages
Bus Simulator 27 Update 1.18 introduces Italian and Brazilian Portuguese localizations alongside fixes for multiplayer session crashes and console freezing. The update also resolves traffic AI routing issues and vehicle graphical errors.
Update 1.18 arrives for Bus Simulator 27, expanding language support and addressing multiplayer desyncs, traffic AI errors, and vehicle model bugs.
Languages and Multiplayer Stability
In-game text support is available for Italian and Brazilian Portuguese. On the stability front, the update fixes a crash caused by passengers re-entering buses after ejection, and stops the game from freezing on a PS5 host after a few minutes of multiplayer. Clients can properly begin trips from depots, avoid random kicks upon joining, and use functional GPS routes for Extra Trips. A connection quality warning alerts players when network latency impacts gameplay.
Traffic AI and Map Navigation
Junction navigation is adjusted in Fishermen's Wharf, New Harbour, Iron District, Peace District, and Worker's Town. Level design fixes resolve unserviceable Crude Oil Tanks stops, stop highlights at Refining Hub A and Lighthouse Road A, and traffic AI behavior in Lake Valley. GPS routing logic no longer prompts players to turn around unnecessarily when alternative paths exist.
Vehicle, UI, and Audio Adjustments
Collision and visual bugs are cleared across multiple buses, including misplaced fleet number decals on Ebusco Articulated and Setra S518 models, a broken headlight on the Scania Citywide LF 12M, and a fixed ticket computer collider on the Alexander Dennis Enviro500. AC and heating systems shut off correctly when the bus powers down. Audio updates ensure stop request sounds play reliably on all models.
Why this patch matters
This update resolves multiplayer blockers and navigation errors while expanding accessibility with new localizations.
