Brawlhalla Patch 8.14 Adds Mega Man Crossover, Balance Tweaks, and Ranked Season 34
Brawlhalla Patch 8.14 arrives with the Mega Man mythic crossover event, balance adjustments for several Legends ahead of the World Championship, and preparations for Ranked Season 34. The update also removes Castlevania content and implements numerous bug fixes.
Patch 8.14 brings the blue bomber to Valhalla alongside a balance pass targeting competitive play before the World Championship. Alongside new Mega Man cosmetics, weapon skins, and custom signature effects, the update adjusts key stats for characters like Ada, Diana, Imugi, and Vivi. Meanwhile, the Castlevania crossover event concludes, with related items and maps phasing out after October 15.
Legend Balance Adjustments
Ada receives greater threat coverage and setup consistency for Neutral Blasters, alongside increased maximum force on Down Blasters. Diana sees reduced minimum charge time and recovery on missed Down Blasters. Ember's Neutral Katars feature reduced minimum charge and recovery time. Sir Roland's Neutral Rocket Lance recovers faster on miss. Wu Shang's Neutral Spear deals less force. Imugi's Side Greatsword has increased recovery time and reduced vertical threat near the end of the hit window, while Down Greatsword requires a longer minimum charge and Side Axe has an increased time to hit on the first swing. Vivi's Neutral Battle Boots have a lowered hurtbox to prevent evading low grounded attacks, and Down Battle Boots have increased recovery time.
Mega Man Crossover Event
Mega Man joins the roster as a Mythic Crossover for Vivi, featuring custom signature effects using the Metal Blade, Flame Sword, and Rush. The crossover includes the Rush Rocket Lance weapon skin, a Beat sidekick, a Mega Man KO effect, themed avatars, emojis, and custom UI elements. Logging in during the event awards a Robot Master title and 250 bonus gold.
Castlevania Last Chance Sale
All Brawlhalla-vania items are available at a discount through October 15. On October 16 at 5 AM Eastern, these items leave the store and Dracula's Castle maps phase out of rotation. Previously purchased items remain in player inventories.
Ranked Season 34 and Queues
Ranked Season 34 begins on October 2, with Valhallan ranks opening two weeks later on October 16. The competitive queue rotation features Ranked 2v2 Oddbrawl starting October 2, Ranked 2v2 Capture the Flag on November 6, and Ranked 2v2 Bombsketball on December 11.
General Fixes and Additions
The update introduces a Mayhem map set, full Steam support for PS5 controllers, and lists Climb and Showdown as selectable maps. Bug fixes resolve issues with couch party names, training menu refreshing, console splash art rendering, and hitbox consistency on bubbled players.
