Brawlhalla Patch 8.13 Launches Battle Pass Season 10 and Imugi Balance Pass
Brawlhalla patch 8.13 kicks off Battle Pass Season 10 with starlight rewards, makes Imugi legal for tournaments following targeted nerfs, and introduces the Back to School 2024 event. Players can also explore new store filters, UI adjustments, and bug fixes.
Brawlhalla patch 8.13 arrives alongside Battle Pass Season 10, bringing starlight cosmetics, the Starlight Falls map, and tournament legality for Imugi. Alongside the new season, developers have rolled out targeted balance changes for Imugi, prepared the Back to School 2024 event for September 4th, and cleaned up several store and gameplay bugs.
Imugi Balance Adjustments
Imugi receives his first balance pass since release and is now cleared for official tournament play. The Side Axe has its total damage reduced from 23 to 21. For the Greatsword, the Side variant requires a longer minimum charge time of 17 frames instead of 14, creating a wider window for opponents to interrupt or evade the attack. The Down Greatsword deals less damage, dropping from 26 to 23, and has its total recovery time on miss increased from 18 to 24 frames. The Neutral Greatsword deals slightly more damage, rising from 22 to 24, but its force is adjusted to 40 Fixed and 48 Variable to reduce knockback distance at most health ranges while preserving knockout potential at late health. Additionally, Bubble Bomb force multiplier drops by 32 percent.
Battle Pass Season 10 and Starlight Content
Battle Pass Season 10 runs for 12 weeks, introducing 85 tiers of rewards across free and premium tracks. Players can complete weekly missions to earn Battle Gems and unlock items like the Valiant Armaments weapon set, Slice of Life progression podium, and new skins for Fait, Caspian, Thea, Magyar, Teros, and Mirage. The update also adds the Starlight Falls map with moving platforms and two new Brawl of the Week modes: Starlight Selection Trials and Starlight Snowbrawl Scuffle.
Back to School 2024 Seasonal Event
The Back to School 2024 event starts on September 4th. The update adds the Cheer Captain Brynn skin alongside 14 other seasonal skins, the Victor sidekick, new emojis, and the Late to Class title reward. Home Team colors become available for all legends, including recent additions Loki, Seven, Vivi, and Imugi. Players who log in during the event receive 250 bonus gold.
Store Filters and Interface Improvements
Mallhalla gains a Base Type filter option that allows skins to be sorted by their corresponding legend and weapon skins by weapon. Couch Party games no longer use leader chooses, and mobile players can now send or accept invites directly from the scoreboard screen. Localization updates refresh translations for Turkish, Portuguese, and Spanish, while progression items are officially renamed across all languages.
