Brawlhalla Balance Preview Patch 9.05 Prepares Priya for Tournament Play
Brawlhalla Patch 9.05 makes Priya tournament legal, adjusts weapon hitboxes and recovery frames across the roster, and rebalances signature attacks for multiple Legends.
Patch 9.05 arrives in Brawlhalla on March 26, introducing Priya and her Chakram weapon to official Esports Year Ten competition. The update adjusts risk and reward profiles across multiple weapons, toning down overperforming options while boosting underutilized tools.
Weapon Adjustments
Blasters receive increased stun on neutral and side lights for better follow-up options. Chakram aerial attacks allow less movement acceleration, and split mode attacks feature reduced stun to guarantee proper dodge windows. Gauntlets side air gains increased time to hit, and recovery on miss is harder. Greatsword whiff recovery windows are significantly delayed on openers. Hammer attacks see increased damage across neutral and side variants, while Katars receive damage reductions to match their rapid-hit identity. Rocket Lance shifts power from aerial mobility to ground force. Sword attacks suffer increased recovery time on miss and restricted acceleration.
Legend Signature Rebalancing
Azoth and Ember receive force increases on bow and katar signatures to match their glass cannon risk profiles. Lord Vraxx and Nix gain increased reward on hit for several blaster and rocket lance signatures. Magyar's down greatsword and hammer signatures deal increased damage and force. Ragnir gains higher force on side katars and down axe, and Sir Roland's neutral rocket lance deals increased force.
Team Mode Nerfs
Ulgrim and Wu Shang receive targeted reductions to damage and force on hit for multiple axe, lance, gauntlet, and spear signatures to curb their overperformance in team game modes.
Why this patch matters
Patch 9.05 recalibrates the weapon meta by penalizing missed inputs on dominant options while lifting up lagging weapons and making Priya tournament-ready.
